Freaky Friday Blog Hop

|

Welcome, if you're following along our blog hop today your just came from Nancy's sight and saw her awesome project!
Thanks so much to Scrap N' Stamp for hosting this today, you can find the links to everyone participating at the bottom of my post.

I loved playing with these Tim Holtz Ancestors Paper Dolls. I really wanted to use the larger pieces and make one of them the focal point. I kept it simple and chose the 2 witches. Don't they look so fun?!

My border was cut using the Memory Box Postage strips die. This set is so versatile, I love it.  This was my only pop of colour. Everything else I kept neutral and dark but chose feminine elements.

The background is actually a 4x6 card I cut down, because I loved the back vintage rose, and the lighter paper makes my witches 'pop'.

An old wood stamp I had that said BOO, is simple yet fun. I added the twine bow to keep with the feminine feeling.  A set of these in a cute box would be an awesome gift for someone with an October birthday.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to continue on and check out all the awesome projects today!!

Happy Happy Birthday Using Hooray & Birthday Balloons | A Muse Studio Guest Designer

|

I am Guest Designing for A Muse Studio again today!
You can check that out here.
I used two gorgeous sets and had a lot of fun!

I feel like Birthday Balloons is a set that everyone needs in their collection. Its classic shapes and the coordinating dies are awesome for birthday cards.

Using the balloons I did second generation stamping to make a subtle background. These high quality red rubber stamps are perfect every time and make this technique so easy.

I also used the sweet bear from Hooray and a sentiment. I think the gold embossing details make the subtle colours of this card really pop.

Thanks so much for stopping by and thanks to A Muse Studio again for having me! Stay tuned for more projects all month long.

Paper Lanterns & Hello Gorgeous | A Muse Studio Guest Designer

|

I am over the A Muse Studio blog Guest Designing, please go check that out here!

Today I am featuring the Paper Lanterns and Hello Gorgeous sets.
I love a good rainbow and this was so much fun to put together.

The coordinating dies made this really simple and quick to put together.
I did some heat embossing in black and quick watercoloring with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.

Popping them up gave it a fun detail and dimension.

Thank you so much for coming by,
and thank you again to A Muse Studio for having me!
I will be sharing more projects featured on their blog all month long, so stay tuned!

Love & Thanks | A Muse Studio Guest Designer

|

I am back at A Muse Studio today as their Guest Designer,
please go check that out here.

If you have never tried A Muse Studio cardstock, you are missing out!
It is so smooth and the perfect thickness. I love the vibrant colours and how the reverse side is white. This makes the perfect paper for card bases or one layer cards.

I used the Love and Thanks stamp set and gold heat embossed the flowers repeatedly. I had to fussy cut them, but do yourself a favour and get the coordinating dies.
I made this beautiful wreath arrangement and added some white dot details using a white gel pen.

I am in love with this card and am going to try it in different colour combinations.
Thanks again to A Muse Studio for having me and
I will see you all next week with more of my A Muse Studio projects.
