The link to your next stop can be found at the bottom of this post,
so keep on reading!

This chunky beaver is too cute!

I really wanted to make my kids some bookmarks for all their summer reading.
To play up the bucky beaver teeth I used a Smile word die from MFT Stamps because I thought this sentiment I created was would be hilarious to my kids.

I wanted it to be really fun and chose to make it into a shaker bookmark. This was an great opportunity to pull out the Fuse tool and put it to work. In hindsight, I wouldn't have used the seed beads, as they are just to chunky (duh!) but they really make it a lot of fun.

The background I quickly ink-blended with some red-toned Hero Arts inks, in order to give it a little interest. Then out came my trusty Copics to do some quick colouring on the images.

The finishing touches like the silver grommet and red ribbon tie it all together. My favourite part is this awesome tag die with the maple leaf. I know I will be pulling that out often, if not for just the maple leaf die.

Your next stop is with Amber Trubiak at http://foreverambersart.blogspot.ca/

Please visit Scrap N' Stamp's blog www.scrapnstamp.ca/blog/ for the complete list of women participating today and to find out the winners on Monday!

Happy Anniversary Using Grow | A Muse Studio Guest Designer

|

I have been featured as a Guest Designer at the A muse Studio blog,
go check that out here. I am sharing my projects here all month long.

I adore these succulent planters from the Grow stamp set.
I did some repeat stamping using my Stamp Perfect tool with a gradient effect.

The images were coloured using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers on Bristol smooth paper. (Because there is just no other way to do that, this paper is so amazing)

I hope you enjoyed this card today, join me Friday for another A muse Studio project.
Thanks again to A Muse Studio for having me, such a pleasure!
