I love the use of black and mint for this Christmas card. I really didn't know what I was after when I started out, but isn't that the way it always is?
I knew I wanted to use my Heidi Swapp Colourshines. I grabbed some white cardstock and just started spritzing. To get the bigger drops I removed the nozzle and strategically tapped it off.
Now I now trees aren't grey, but green wouldn't have matched my mint background, so I chose a neutral grey pallet from my Copics. Then using a silver gel pen drew on dots to give them some interest.
I stamped my sentiment in black and then again in Versamark with clear embossing powder on the vellum. It all came together with some scrap pattern paper, I don't even remember what its from.
Finishing touches like the tiny silver bow and the same silver thread across my sentiment give it the perfect subtle look.
Simple and quick! It all came together in the end.
Thanks for stopping by!!
Niki, this is a wonderful design! The mint and grey are very fun together, and I like that you added your sentiment on vellum! Thanks for playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
