No Line Watercoloring Valentines

|
Aren't these donuts so sweet? This is my first time using this set from Lawn Fawn. I'm in love!

I started by masking off a bottom portion of my card, to leave for my sentiment later. Use a light colour that you know will blend well with your images.

21, 25, 60, 62, 67, 72

I coloured my images using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a small paintbrush with water.  I would lay down a small but of water and then colour over top with my marker, then go black and blend some more with my paint brush.  It really is a simple process that doesn't require perfect colouring.

When dry you can stamp your sprinkles. I chose brown, pink and light blue. I left out 2 little donuts and gave them faces using black ink. So cute.

My sentiment is from WPlus9 That is all set, one of my all time favourites. Versamark and pink embossing powder makes it stand out.

Wrap around some twine and you can be done. I can't leave well enough alone so I went over all the sprinkles with some glossy accents. I covered my 2 love donuts with some Wink of Stella and then glossy accents and POW! Done!

Everything was popped up with some foam tape and placed on a pink card base I have in my stash.

I can't get over how 'sweet' this card is!

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to share!

  1. What an absolutely charming card! I loved the layout of it and how the sentiment fits perfectly with donuts...which I am now craving. I thought the techniques you used were so clever and the sprinkles and frosting on your donuts really bring them to life. Your attention to detail is really incredible and I couldn't help but smile at your creation. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
